Purpose: To enhance and maintain the beauty of the community.

Scope: The Beautification Team is responsible for identifying, implementing and evaluating projects that will enhance and maintain Altoona’s attractive appearance.

Team Goals:

1. To actively recruit members representing all parts of the community to participate in the beautification project.
2. To coordinate projects with city staff and other partners concerned about beautification
3. To market the beautification activities
4. To secure funding to support the beautification efforts
