Altoona Advisory Council: Facilities/Activities for Quality of Life Team

Purpose: To determine Altoona’s facility needs to support the community’s quality of life and to make recommendations to the Altoona Citizen Visioning Advisory Council (CVAC).

Scope: The Facilities/Activities Team is responsible for assessing the quality of life facility needs in Altoona, for reviewing possible options and making a recommendation to the CVCA on how to proceed.

Team Goals:

  1. To ensure the team represents the community and has the necessary skills to do its work
  2. To assess the community needs for facilities ensuring all community members are included
  3. To partner with community groups with similar interests

Membership: Members of the Facilities/Activities Team are committed to assessing the community’s need for facilities, identifying facility options and making a recommendation to CVAC on what facilities should be built. To get involved, contact Patty Whetstone at PAWhet@msn.com.
