Altoona Spring Cleanup and Tire Drop Off Scheduled for April 8 and 9

Altoona is partnering with Metro Waste Authority once again in 2024 to provide a community wide, spring clean-up event. During this event, Altoona residents can dispose of large household items for free by placing the item for pickup at their curb on their regular collection day on either Monday, April 8 or Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

Items that can be left on the curb for pick-up include:
  • couches
  • desks
  • lamps
  • toys
